FY 2025 Tentative Budget & Appropriation Ordinance

THE TOWN BOARD OF SHIELDS TOWNSHIP held its Public Budget Hearing on Thursday May 29th, 2024, at 5:30 pm.
 
PRESENT:

David Weil                               Town Trustee
Brady Andersen                      Town Trustee
ABSENT:
Matt Garrity                             Town Trustee
 

1. Call to Order & Roll Call: Supervisor Urso called the meeting to order at 5:32 pm. This meeting was initially scheduled for May 23rd, but there was not a quorum and the notice was given to reschedule for May 29th.
2. Pledge of Allegiance: Supervisor Urso led the meeting with the pledge of Allegiance at 5:33 pm.
3. Public Comment: Three (3) minutes per speaker: None.
4. Hearing Regarding the Shields Township Tentative Budget & Appropriation Ordinance for the Fiscal Year Beginning March 1, 2024 and Ending February 28, 2025: Supervisor Urso states that this document has been prepared in tentative format and available to the public since Thursday April 18th, 2024. He invites anyone in the audience to address the board in regards to the Amended Budget and Appropriation Ordinance. Hearing none, Supervisor Urso closed this portion of the meeting. Supervisor Urso states that the board will take final action on this ordinance later this evening during the regular scheduled meeting.
5. Adjournment: Supervisor Urso moves to adjourn the meeting. Trustee Weil motions and Trustee Andersen seconds the motion. Meeting it adjourned at 5:35 pm.
